Question for Mike - Capital Maintenance and dividend law

Hi James There's no way I could begin to guess the likelihood or otherwise of any topic coming in the exam next week! If it's any consolation, there are very few students who don't struggle with the concepts of capital maintenance and legality of dividends / distributions

Thanks Mike, I am assuming that is the politically correct answer as a tutor! I notice that it is not on the likely list of questions. If I could perhaps ask, is this a massively examinable area, for example by BPP tutor on F4 stated this wouldn't come up!

I'm always aware of being PC. I would tend to agree with the BPP person - it's not a hot topic that recurs with great frequency If you look at the analysis of past exams, you'll see that capital maintenance does not feature too often
