I started solving past papers, after reading questions I can pick out the points, but when I draft the answer then I become confused of my points and confuse how to start how to answer. In June 2012 question 3 mahem co, I extract out the points but confused to how to link them and draft answer… Plz guide me how to solve questions 🙁

Edited answers are not generally available. Some of the big publishers like BPP and Kaplan will issue their own answers but these will stay close to the ACCA ones.

As for structuring your answers, this is where models and formal knowledge help. This is a question asking about how a PID would have helped. You can’t answer that unless oyu know the typical contents of a PID. If you know those then set out your answer in that format, listing each content item (such as business case) and then saying how the company went wrong by not having that and how it could have helped if it had had a business case.

Similarly in part (b). The different types of benefit ae set out in the study material (identifiable, measurable, quantifiable and financial) and all you have to do is talk about each with reference to the scenario.

This is not just an exam in common sense. Models/frameworks etc help you to develop better answers.
