    To whom it may concern,

In accordance to the ACCA website, students who are either absent from their first exam session date or have to make a re-sit, will not be eligible for the Prize Winner Status in regards to the specific paper.

    https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/exam-results/prizewinners.html

However, when contacting ACCA (via email) to clarify this out, they have told me that

“…I can confirm that the number of attempts you make at passing an exam does not affect your prize winner eligibility status”…

The reason for writing this message is to confirm/ensure whether ACCA’s regulations have now changed in regards to the Prize Eligibility

Thanks for your help on this matter.

The ineligibility clause at the page you referenced concerns ON-DEMAND CBEs – not session CBEs.
