Hi John.
I am working away nicely through your lectures following the lectures notes as I do. Thank you, explanations are very clear and explained very well. I have already learned new topics that I did not know from previous revisions sessions. ?
I plan to start the Kaplan revision practice kit from Sunday 31st January (this will be my 4th attempt at paper FM, failing between 47-48% previously). I know it might be hard for you to answer as everyone is different but would you have any advice on how to approach the exam kit revision. Should I spend all my time on the practice kit questions or split it between past exam papers and the ACCA CBE platform.
I do intend to watch your videos on MCQ’s as I feel MCQ’s is where I fall down on.As having sat the paper 4 times already I’m well versed in the exam platform and do not find it intimidating to the point I would need practice.
Thanks again and any advice is much appreciated.
Graham
January 25, 2021 at 9:13 am #607874It is practice on questions that is vital and so you really must attempt all of the questions in your Exam Kit. It will contain all the relevant past exam questions apart from the latest ones and those you can find samples of on the ACCA website.
For the MCQ’s in the exam kit, do them in batches of (say) 10 at a time and do them under time pressure (for 10 questions you should allow 36 minutes). For Section C questions, make sure you attempt them in full before looking at the answers so as to learn from your mistakes.
