Forums › Ask ACCA Tutor Forums › Ask the Tutor ACCA FM Exams › please tell calculator model number to be used in ACCA exam!!!
as per acca policy calculator should be
“A noiseless, cordless pocket calculator which may be programmable but which must
not have a printout or graphic/word display facility in any language”
last time my invigilator said calculator with sin cos function is not allowed. mine one is CASIO fx 82 MS. before that in all my ACCA exams i have been using the same but only last time my invigilator didn’t allow.
please guide which one is allowed for FM examination..as with CBE built in calculator is difficult to use.
The ACCA does not have a list of approved calculators.
I can only assume that your calculator displayed the letters ‘sin’ on the screen. If it does not display letters then it should have been allowed!
Better is to ask in the other FM forums and find out what calculators other students have used (and been allowed to use) 🙂
