would production manager is responsible for the budget of efficiency variance that is incorrectly prepared ? i know according to situation it is not but if in case production manger is involved in budget setting now he is responsible or not ?
It depends who it was who was responsible for preparing the budget. If it was the production manager who prepared it then it is his responsibility.
