    Hello,

I have some basic problems and asking for help.

    1) Is the BPP Practice & Revision Kit enough or should I also buy the Kaplan exam kit?
    2) The Foundations in Professionalism does it counts as an exam? In other words is sitting F1 – F3 and FiP the 4 exam limit?
    3) Do I have to pause after a failed attempts until retake?
    4) I would like to take two exams this december and at least two in june next year. Should I wait until the new books are available?
    5) What about the changes in the syllabus? How can I be sure, that I don´t learn something wrong or miss something? Or that something changed?
    6) I am thinking about to buy only the revision/exam kit for F2 without buying a further book, only useing the opentuitition lecture. But I am not sure.
    7) I am not sure if my qualification is enouphe to start directly with the ACCA. What can I do?

I will try and answer 🙂

    1. You only need one kit – either of them is fine and will contain plenty of questions to practice.

    2. No – it doesn’t count as an exam

    3. If you take the exam as CBE (on computer) then if you fail then you can take it again as soon as you want. If you are taking it paper based then you have to wait until the next siting – at the moment that means waiting six months to retake.

    4. Apart from Paper F6 (tax) the syllabuses will not change between December this year and June next year (as a double check, the books will have printed on the cover which exams they are for).

    5. Again, the books will say on them which exams they are for. You can always check the syllabuses on the ACCA website. (But see my answer to point 4)

    6. Using OpenTuition free Course Notes and free lectures is sufficient, provided that you also have a Revision/Exam Kit so that you can practice lots of questions.

    7. The entry requirements are 3 GCSE’s and 2 A levels in five separate subjects including maths and English (or their equivalent depending where you have studied).
When you register as a student with the ACCA, the online form requires you to choose your country and will then list the equivalent qualifications needed to register.
You can find the form on the ACCA website -https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/qualifications/apply-now.html

    I hope that helps 🙂
