Hi
I would like to ask how best to go about suggesting performance indicators in the context of PEST (EL) model
in Dec 2010 Q4 a) dealt with this issue
I am having some difficulties with it because for example in terms of influence of E- Economy, organization is affected by FX rates, inflation, cost of borrowing etc.
the question is however how can we measure performance here, these are aspects independent of organization, it is not that the business can outperform cost of borrowing, it is what it is, depended on decisions of central banks
also for S-Social aspect, we can measure population age, gender, etc but how can we measure performance in relation to this?
any clarification would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

If a green government came to power, we know that this would be followed by taxed and laws to reduce emissions etc.
Most of the economic items you list are not relevant to this question because it wants you to concentrate on the company’s environmental policies. Therefore carbon taxes, subsidies for solar power, oil prices would be relevant.
Social: publis opinion about how much the environment matters and how they think FHH is doing.
Technology: measure the use the company makes of wind and solar power. Perhaps also keep an eye on the use competitors are making of renewal energy sources.

I think I got unclear as P5 is about the performance of the business and suggesting metrics for this performance and here it seems the outlook is all about what’s out there externally to the organization , which is more like P3
Thank you
