    Hi all,

As far as I knew the pass marks for every individual subject was 50. I am an ACCA student enrolled into the Oxford Brookes University Bsc scheme as well and it was 50 so far.

A friend of mine is in Birmingham studying ACCA at BPP and he tells me that he has opted into a scheme where the pass mark is reduced to 46 – 48 or something. Is this real ? ( like a minority scheme, privilege scheme or something ) ?

Another thing I picked up when I attended an ACCA event was that somebody who was studying ACCA and enrolled with the University of Western Scotland ( Bsc ) was claiming that they received internal marks for their ACCA papers.

I dont know to what extent this is true. I would like your valuable input.

    Thank You

This is certainly news to me. ACCA upholds its reputation and takes it very seriously and will not in any way compromise its standards, I don’t think.

There might be assessments which are internal to the school as part of preparation but completely unrelated to ACCA. ACCA is an independent qualifying body.
