PMPass F5 without learning providers

MMichael8y ago
Hello to all of you and good luck with your exams. I would like to ask if it is possible to pass ACCA exams without learning providers' study materials at all. Only with OpenTuition and lectures and past papers from the ACCA website is it possible to get to a 50%? The problem is that I have bought F5 & F8 BPP and I really don't like it. It makes me anxious. F5 has 350 questions which are apparently made for the BPP study material. It is like I am studying X3 the OpenTuition notes. The advantage is that you learn a lot more but it is like studying a new book and not just add knowledge to what you already know.

You need to practice lots of questions. Past papers from the ACCA website will not be enough. At the very least you need an exam kit from Kaplan or BPP. You can go without the textbook but not the exam kit.

I just did F2 with the BPP textbook and then used the resources here. I wish I’d ditched the textbook and just did the online lectures and notes. BPP is very detailed, which some people like. I’m going to try F5 with online resources only, plus the BPP revision kit online, which I bought for my previous exams. So I suspect it’s very possible, I’m going to try, and if you have any gaps you can find other videos and resources to help.
