Lot of insignificant questions that you tend not to pay attention to when revising. Shame there was a threats/ethics question, glad it's over and hoping for 50%

and status of ISA, i never learnt it b4
audit accounting estimate, didnt really cover.
and the audit risk and response, my brain was hoping wages to come out, screwed that part already.
value for money audit, totally unexpected.

i don't know how i should study F9 now, too upset to study already

for status of ISA...i simply crap in ISA200 defining audit objective and auditor's duty on FS
Former userFormer user15y ago#34
Agree guys... Too many questions on INTERNAL!
Didnt hve enough time to do the last question!

Kkarishma15y ago#35

@puivee90 : which is why i didnt read the forum comments on F4 yesterday. Forget abut it n concentrat on that F9.
Rrichieinspain15y ago#37
Yeah the 14 mark question looked nice until you read it. It was tough to identify the risks. They didn't jump out at you unlike previous exam questions. Managed to get 4 though, however, not to sure if they were all (or if any) were correct.

what was the opinion ??? unmodified or modified???
Former userFormer user15y ago#39
After Terminator, Examinator --> to exterminate all hopes that we, poor students, have.
Former userFormer user15y ago#40
I think that most students managed to write smthing, to identify the issues, but are not sure their answers are correct.
Former userFormer user15y ago#41
i wasted my last day of revision on audit software caat test data ,nothing mentioned
Lliverpool0515y ago#42
Strange exams, normally I can remember questions clearly but this time I felt they wasn't very rememberable or that different from each other. I got stuff down for every question but just hope I went down the right path for each question!

Can we see if we can get some questions & comparable answers down on here?
Bbolbate15y ago#43
I found it very practical, test test test.. suggest! and theoretical questions were strange...
Former userFormer user15y ago#44
i made disclaimer of opinion it was material balance which management refused to make representation letter ,i could have said an except for but i opt for disclaimer of opinion
Former userFormer user15y ago#45
what is the status of ias? my answer nothing
Rrichieinspain15y ago#46
I mentioned a qualified report assuming that the auditor didn't obtain suff app evidence to satisfy his opinion. But given the warranties were a big part of the company I also mentioned disclaimer of opinion.
Former userFormer user15y ago#47
you give me a hope
Former userFormer user15y ago#48
precondition?i said to verify that the removal of precedent auditors war properly conducted
Rrichieinspain15y ago#49
yes, sounds correct to me
Lliverpool0515y ago#50
For the opinion I wrote that the report could have been one of the following ... I then wrote three options down. I said without knowing the figures involved I couldn't say which options should be used. Looks like I should have picked an option rather then saying the options! I'm sure I saw a answer saying all the options once. Oh well maybe I'll pick up 1/3 marks ...

Status of ISA?
Single? Married?
I just thought it's complicated...
Former userFormer user15y ago#52
paper was tricky and lengthy but a well prepared student will pass it which is not me.
Any ways could get 50 hopefully
Kkhurramkool15y ago#53
i think nthat the report should not b qualified becz the auditor has already checked the figuers and assumptions of warranty provisions and those are consistent with the previous years..
so that's why i conclude my opinnion to the "emphysis of matter paragraph"
Former userFormer user15y ago#54
Hi Guys, completed answer booklet in blue pen, can anyone confirm whether this will be marked?
Sswgiant15y ago#55
I think the opinion should go for "Except for" because it is not a pervasive.
Rrichieinspain15y ago#56
The ISA question was a stab in the dark. I said that they were compulsary and member countries had to adapt there reporting standards to be in line with the ISA's or adopt them. I'm confident that the above fact is correct but not sure whether the question required a response like this.
Lliverpool0515y ago#57
Yes it will be marked
Sslap15y ago#58
I think this paper is testing general knowledge on audit the notes did not really work.
KLkasia lapot15y ago#59
It said the matter was material so definitely not emphasis of matter and not except for.. it was too serious but as long as you said 'In my opinion' and you gave good reasoning that should be ok.. i think

@dmcauley call ACCA but as far as I know they are scanned and sent to correctors and black is the only color that the scanner picks up! Someone would have to check it manually...
Former userFormer user15y ago#60
I did a paper on CAT with blue pen and passed so I assume for ACCA it will be marked also.
