Hello gromit
The model answers in past papers on acca website are mostly very long and sometimes my conclusions and strategy advice are different to what is suggested by model answers particularly when it comes to Ashridge, BCG, SFA model etc
Are the model answers only for reference purposes? Do I get points as long as the application of model is sufficient irrespective of conclusions?
Please advise.
Thanks
They are reference documents and are in much more detail than you could possibly produce in an exam.
There are often no right answers when it comes to giving business advice. Two people could come to quite different recommendations. What’s important is how well you argue your case and use suitable models and theories.
thanks
