P3 for September

Hello sir , can u pls guide me whether its possible to give p3 based on self study and open tuition guidance, and whether more importantly there is a fixed style or pattern to how questions are answered, lime in f8 you have to be very formal and to the point and irrelevant material is not to be written, is the answering style for p3 quite similar to that if p1 where there's no real format to answer Regards
