Sir, how to do a particular qns of P3? I read the requirements and then sit with it for some time to figure out what it is and I can’t write enough, I don’t know what to write and I am so worried. how can I get better?
September 28, 2015 at 8:11 am #273928Often the requirements will suggest a model that might be relevant. Eg, if it asks you to approaise the environment, reach for PESTEL. If it’s talking about outsourcing, think about Harmon, if it mentions contextual features of change look at Balogun and Hope Hailey.
Think of models as friends, not enemies that have to be mastered. A model helps you to organise that data and draw conclusions. Use of models is expected in the exam because they give your answers more academic respectabiity.
Look at how the ACCA model answers usually make use of models. Practise thinking about what a question is after, write an outline answer then look at the model answer.
