    Hello Sir/Mam,
Could you please tell me the exact changes in the 2015 and 2019 syllabus. When i checked your lectures and notes there were 2 new chapters but other than that didn’t see any difference. So if that is actually the case then its not much change. So could you please tell the exact changes. It would be very helpful. I finished studying 2015 P1 with your lectures and notes , so a big thank you for such help.

    Thank you
    Senekh

    Hi -sorry for the delay

Hopefully you have found the changes for P1 arent as drastic as some of the other subjects ( E1 for example has changed considerably)

There is this link on CIMA website

    https://www.cimaglobal.com/future/changes-to-the-qualification/#lb-p1

Plus if you google transition guides – CIMA have provided more info on those

From the top -of -my head – I can confirm that Quality costing & environmental costing have been removed from the 2019 syllabus. So has material mix & yield variances. So no exam questions will ask for these.

Everything else remains examinable – but there are some smaller areas on digital costing/ digital products – using linear programming in digital age etc – that have been added to various chapters – these are all in the Open Tuition notes

    Good luck with your studies
    Cath
