In a mock exam question (Novara Co) I accidentally counted 5 months instead of 4 and that affected nearly all the rest of the calculations in that question from basis to gain etc.
My question is: does the "own rule" figure apply in this case, or would I lose the marks for every calculation in which this error appeared?
