Hello
other costing techniques such as activity based costing, total quality management, life cycle costing, target costing are there in the course or not since their theory is mentioned in the notes posted by ACCA or it will be in course for exams from September onwards.?
Thank youAugust 6, 2019 at 3:39 pm #526439I can only assume that by the ‘notes posted by ACCA’ you are referring to the technical articles on the ACCA website.
The technical articles certainly do not cover the whole syllabus (and are not intended to cover the whole syllabus).
If you look at the syllabus itself you will see that ‘alternative costing techniques’ are examinable – they are examinable at the moment and are examinable from September onwards also. (You will also obviously find them covered in the Study Texts published by the ACCA approved publishers.)
Our lecture notes and the free lectures that work through them cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well, and only cover the examinable topics 🙂
