    Hi

I am part qualified ACCA, need to give 4 papers (completed all papers uptill P1). I am full time employee and used to give papers as and when i get time. Now I have 3 more attempts to get qualified. I will appreciate If someone can guide me, my questions are

    1. Is there a chance if after the expiry of registration period, can ACCA extend the time and let me complete, I was registered with ACCA in 2001.

    2. If above isnt possible, then what are the options available and the exemptions available.

    Thanks

Basically, time required to qualify will be extended for everyone in similar position to you with the added New provision that P paper passes older than seven years old will have to be retaken. You can find more about this on the following link-
    https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/getting-started/rules-and-regulations-for-students/time-limits.html
    Hope this was helpful.

Yes this is helpful, however i am still confused…

My last session is Jun 2016, If i dont pass will i have to retake P1 once again which is already cleared….

    OR

Will i be eligible for 7 years starting from the first professional paper passed i.e. P1 in Aug 2014.

Your P1 pass will be for seven years from the session that you passed. In other words until 2021.If you complete other papers by then you won’t have to retake the paper.Similarly, you will have seven years from the date you pass other P papers before having to retake the relevant paper.
