    Dear ACCA Cracy ,
Did you manage to pass the module?
I have been trying to complete the online Foundation in Professionalism module but with no luck. I have extensively studied the module and have attempted the online Final Quiz several time but I cant get more than 27% of the marks. It says I need at least 50% to pass the module. This is quite ridiculous as I am sure if some human manually assess my answers, I am sure to pass. However, since the assessment procedure is automated, I think its only expecting exact answers and feedbacks which is not possible.
Is there any way you can help me this?

@abdul786 Hello how did you manage to get through the fundation in professionalism? I have tried several times but haven’t get beyond 47. Im pretty sure if it was corrected manually i would have pass.

I passed this with 52% a couple of weeks ago. My advice would be to study each section and then copy and paste it into a word document before going on to the next section. This way you can refer back to it for key words etc. Just to be aware, even though I used this method there was still sections of the exam I scored 0 on so it’s a really tough exam! No shame in having to take it a few times!

I scored 63%. 2nd attempt. I hope there are no technicalities in diploma issuance. Like joined before this date and ‘Opted’ For diploma kind of stuff.

I passed FiP successfully in first attempt, everything is there in the module itself, but I would strongly advise to read and understand the last chapter of F1 Accountant in Business which is of ‘Ethical Considerations’ as it asks many questions on ethics. Hope this might help you, Best of luck !

Just passed it today in 3 attempts, all in one day got 57%.It was hard even for me and i have cleared till p2.
study material is provided in the Fip module. It also contains some material from P1 like AAA(reduced version) model of ethics.

    Hello everyone,
When you go ‘My ACCA’ under the category ‘ETHICS & PROFESSIONALISM’ you will see two sub-categories :
    i) ‘Access foundation in professionalism module’
    ii) ‘Request Professional Ethics module’

Some details about the content of these two categories (at least this my understanding, but if I am wrong, please feel free to correct)

    i) ‘Access foundation in professionalism module’
This is an ‘optional’ online module but highly recommended before you go on to do the ‘Professional Ethics module’. THIS WILL HELP YOU TO GRASP THE BASIC CONCEPT ABOUT ETHICS.
So, you DO NOT GET A DIPLOMA for completing the foundation in professionalism module. Instead you will just be able to see in your current status (along with all your exams and PER summary) that you have completed this module.
I discovered this fact some weeks ago after already spending some hours trying to answer correctly the foundation in professionalism (which at the end I did with over 70 %), as I thought that this was the ‘Professional Ethics module’.
ONE ADVISE TO SAVE TIME consists in writing down your answer into word for the part where you have to enter free text so that if you fail and have to take the ending test again and again (Like I did before passing) you do not need to write it all again and can just copy paste it.

    i) ‘Request Professional Ethics module’
This is the ‘Famous’ Professional Ethics module which is MANDATORY to complete at the latest before applying for membership. It is composed of 9 separated steps which are quite convenient if you don’t have time to complete it all at once. The beginning is just exposing you the concepts and then you have a test to answer to. I would highly recommend to USE YOUR OWN WORDING while answering the last test as the answers are very closely monitored by the ACCA and you could get into trouble if you just paraphrase.
After completing it you will receive the ‘famous’ Diploma.

Actually, when you complete FiP, you’ll get the ‘Diploma in Accounting and Business’ and when you complete Professional Ethics Module you’ll get ‘Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business’
