I am currently studying ACCA FA using the Kaplan book and referring to open tuition for topics I don’t understand. I am a bit confused by the layout of the study notes. BPP and Kaplan looks to follow the same table of content where open tuition starts by exemple with the double entry bookkeeping and then with the books of prime entry few chapters later.

BPP and Kaplan present them in the same order as they are listed in the syllabus, but that order is not as logical. (They used to teach them in the same order as we do, precisely because it is more logical 🙂 )
If you are watching our free lectures then you do not really need the study text – our lectures cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
The essential book – however you choose to study – is either the BPP Revision Kit or the Kaplan Exam Kit. It is full of exam standard questions for practice and question practice after finishing studying the topics is vital to passing the exam.
