hahaha. I am still waiting for my result too. Me too, have no idea how the system works and why some will get earlier than the rest.
is it because it is sent out based on the results of each individual that have been grouped together in one batch (e.g. 1 batch – 2nd Upper, 1 batch – 1st Class) ??
Most of my students are still waiting for their results umarkhan5 – patience is obviously something you still need to learn!

IS this true that candidate are grouped together based on their results? Does that mean that we will get a second class or third?

I dont know. I am just thinking out loud. There is no proof to it. Just be patience, your results will come eventually.
Don’t think you can demand your results, and certainly not over here.
I get that waiting for it is horrible, I’ve been waiting since 12 am too and I think the batch system is implemented so that their systems can handle the amount of candidates.

I doubt it. It’s probably sorted by something like ACCA number or submission number
Well in all honesty this system is certainly not good. OBU should use systems used by ACCA, Cambridge or Edexcel who handle vast numbers of applicants but still release results on time.

This is a plausible reason.
Got the mail now. I’ve failed. I’m gutted, totally gutted. My mentor said it was one of the best projects she has seen and now this. I can’t believe it
I think it is probably done in order of marker returns and since apart from selecting a marker who is appropriate for the particular topic, reports are randomly allotted to markers. (These may well be in alphabetical order of the marker’s name)
So if the marker your RAP was given to is last on the marker list you will be waiting longest and those who have heard were on the earlier marker returns
Fresh from the oven, just received the result via email at 8:40am UK time / 3:40 pm my local time.
OBU submission portal is still ‘Not Marked’ status so don’t bother go there.
I achieved A grade and awarded Upper Second Class.

In a few days’ time, they will send you a separate email to login the submission portal and download the feedback they gave you. From there, you are able to see which areas that you have failed (RAP, SLS).

Just got my email and got an A which means I got an upper second class. I thought I was going to fail so I’m very surprised!

My mail says failed to meet the standard for the RAP. The SLS isn’t mentioned at all, so I assume I didn’t make the grade on an area or certain areas of the RAP
I passed! Got a C grade but First Class Honours on the degree, so I’m happy! Congrats to all those who passed and commiserations & good luck to those who haven’t on this attempt. You will get it next time!
Just received the email and I can’t hide my joy as I passed with a First class honours. This was my second attempt on a new topic and organisation and my ACCA average mark was 67.5. Topic 1 for that matter.
Congratulations! to all who passed and commiserations to those who failed and take your time to reflect on the marker’s feedback before resubmitting.I passed ! Congratulations to those who passed too!
As for those who have failed, dont be discouraged. I also failed the first attempt too. Read the comments that they gave, and go for the second attempt ! Good luck !
