Sorry to hear that your appeal was unsuccessful but hope that you will be able to turn it around, but thank you for posting on here.
I would suggest that you take your time and not rush to resubmit in P43 - unless you really do have sufficient time to deal with everything effectively.
[It can feel a bit stressful for students when they resubmit too quickly and it is failed again as where there have been 2 unsuccessful submissions, they find themselves down to the very last attempt. So make sure you are ready - and also of course it costs GBP 440 for each submission attempt, so another reason to take your time in getting it right].
Good luck and all the very best!

To be honest I doubt I will resubmit. I rather put the time and money towards the last 3 ACCA exams than go through this process again, only to fall at the whim of some nameless faceless individual. To me it really seems like "luck of the draw" in terms of who marks one's project rather than an empirical evaluation. I mean to defend a point of view which has no basis on the assessment criteria provided is laughable. I could understand being failed on concrete reasons but not on this. Anyway another lesson learned, so we grow.
I do understand your huge disappointment coupled with disillusionment. Although it shouldn't be, yes it sometimes it is a bit of a lottery re who marks it and the final outcome [and perversely it seems actually easier to pass the dissertation part of the Brookes MBA than the RAP, even though the latter is supposed to be a more basic qualification...]
I support your view of putting your full effort into completing your ACCA exams as your current goal but suggest that you don't write off getting the degree completely. You never know where life will take you, and some avenues expect you to have a degree. However frustrating the RAP and BSc Applied Accounting may seem right now, you probably weren't that far off passing and on a practical note it remains one of the cheapest ways of getting a UK University degree.

Qualifying as a Member also opens other options so will see when I get there. At this point I do believe money and most of all time is better invested in getting the last papers done. As always, highly appreciate your inputs
Hello,
A friend of mine submitted RAP and his result was not released and sent to Research Conduct Officer on 22nd September 2021 after that he didn't hear anything from OBU. However, yesterday he received an email from OBU with login details and when he logs in there is nothing like result or RAP instead looks like a regular students program enrollment portal.
Please help me what we should do now.
Thanks
Eveyone has received that error email..me too waiting for the results.

Hello Everyone, i would like to share my experienced from results date to the successful Appeal. here is my first email which i received from OBU.
Following the decision of the Oxford Brookes University BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting Examination Board held on 20 September 2021, I regret to inform you that your Research and Analysis Project has FAILED to achieve the pass standard.
Your marker feedback will be available to you on the submission portal in due course. This indicates the area(s) of weakness in your Project as well as advice on how improvements can be made. We will send you a link and instructions by 06 October 2021.
We have arranged a webinar “Resubmission of a Research and Analysis Project“, specifically for students who are thinking about re-submitting their RAP.
Here is my appeal regarding the resuls:which i submitted on 12 OCT
I trust this email sounds good to you. I submitted my project in May 2021. Although I did my best to achieve the pass grade, I was unable to do so. Marker highlighted a few issues. For example, a marker is asking for more details at some places. Marker said that I mentioned in my RAP “Toyota has negative publicity because of product recall”. Further details here needed.
I mentioned there that recalls were also happening in the past, these recalls were because of faults identification in the airbags.
Since English isn’t my native language, I might not be able to convey my findings appropriately.
Another example was about the opportunity regarding Chinese and Indian Markets, Marker highlighted that I didn’t share information about Toyota’s presence in those markets. But in my Part 1, section “company introduction” I mentioned that Toyota is the Number 1 brand in Asian Markets. I also mentioned in strengths that it is part of Toyota Group, which is operating in more than 170 countries Globally. In order to avoid any repetition and save the words, I tried to explain the things at once place and discussed at another place concisely. For example, Marker highlighted the issue about Capital Expenditure in Sales Analysis. I mentioned that capital expenditure increased the production volumes.
In my opinion, capital expenditures were more relevant to Return on Capital Employed (ROCE), so I tried to discuss in detail at the ROCE Section. In ROCE I mentioned that Toyota Approved the Capital Investment for increasing their production capacity and removing their bottleneck resources etc.I therefore humbly request you to please consider my result again. I agree that still there might be few errors in my RAP but please endure a few errors. I put a lot of effort into my RAP. Your kind cooperation would be highly appreciated.
Then later on they send an email on 29 OCT for my successful appeal.
I understand that you are unhappy with your RAP result. The Programme Lead and I have also reviewed the work on your request. An appeal can be considered for technical reasons. Technical reasons can include the marking criteria being misinterpreted, or that an uploaded element of the work has been missed by the marker.
The Programme Lead and I have looked again at your submission. I have looked at the marker’s and moderator's feedback and their feedback is valid; there are some deficiencies in the work. However, when I looked at the criteria for a C pass, the work overall just reaches the threshold of a pass grade. Therefore, I will ask the administrative team to remove the fail grade for the RAP from the mark sheet, for technical reasons. This will take some time to show on your mark sheet.
I have copied in my colleagues in the office to this email, so they will know that you have been awarded an overall C grade pass. Please do not email them, as this adds to their high workload.
Good luck with your future studies
Passed finally
