OBU Period 38 delay

What time would they start issuing the results?

I believe UK's morning time on 18th of September...

Yes, i was told they will be released 18th. I also read that they are released in batches and everyone should have receieved them by the 19th Does anyone know how we recieve the results? are we just sent e-mails?

Please don't hold your breath on this everyone - I have heard a rumour that results may be a week late... I hope I am wrong on this but I was told not to get my hopes up too much about results being released tomorrow - by someone who works in the Oxford Brookes ACCA Office...

I received an email from them on 6th September with a document that said they will he issued on the 18th with all students receiving them by end of day on 19th Would they not atleast tell us there had been a delay, especially after sending this out?

Taking 4 months to publish a result still at point if we need to hear this kinda thing it's really frustrating. OBU service is not as good as ACCA. Very disappointed... I hear you! I really hope they are on time seeing the earlier weeks email. It would be very poor if they didnt notify us already! Good luck to all. Please please let me know as soon as you get your results so we know they are on the way. Is there any other forms - Facebook groups - that may have more news?

Frustrating waiting for the results. Did not sleep well yesterday and extremely anxious now.

OBU has put people on a serious tension, checking email time and again and not seeing any mail from OBU !! Hopefully they will communicate the delay and release guys from pressure!

I was informed it will be released 9 Am UK time. Fingers Crossed!

Good point! I didnt notice 'that......5 now! I think its BS that there is so much mystery and confusision ... Still no results from my side.

Katie, I received an email from OBU earlier stating that student who didn't pass will receive an email otherwise result will be sent by post..... which should be received 18/19th of September...

Thats more frustrating atleast they should have inform all the students.

Yes, both who passed and failed will receive emails on 18-19th of September.

So now we have to pray that we don’t receive email from OBU because only failed students will receive email. So confusing...

THats what i understood from above post as she stated that failed students will receive email and passed will receive results by post i am not sure

However the attachment stated that by the end of day on the 19th all students will have received results.... there is no possibility that they have timed the postal arrival so well. I'm still hoping for email pass notificaiton. .....Please let us know if anyone gets results....

Hi everyone, The OBU said: "Results for Period 38 Submissions will be released in batches from 18 September, with all students receiving their results by the end of the day on 19th September. Shortly afterwards, we will dispatch hard copies of pass letters, award confirmation letters and transcripts to successful students" So to me this is clear that all students will be emailed and then hard copies of stuff will be subsequently posted to successful students. I hope that the results are coming out today as it will be very disappointing otherwise! I think that because the ACCA themselves release exam results just after midnight on results day it's hard to wait any longer for a result now! Good luck everyone! Very nervous! Note to self: check the junk mail folder!

This sounds like its going to be done manually as oppose to how ACCA does theirs. Let's wait!!!

Thanks melaniemoo for the clear explanation Of course it would help if the OBU ACCA Office sent the same email as FYI to listed mentors then we wouldn't have to rely on rumour, hearsay and speculation!!!!
