Hi
Can someone help me understand what the extension to the 10 year rule for the OBU degree is – specifically what does it mean when they say a student should have passed 3 skills or professional level exams in the last 5 years before their submission date – which 5 years are they referring to and do we decide our own submission date ?
Please clarify this. Thanks

December 27, 2020 at 5:08 pm #600991Hi thanks I did post there. But if you can answer my question it would be helpful
December 28, 2020 at 8:03 am #601024I’m afraid I don’t know the answer. We give our time to answer the forums and from Friday 25th to today (inclusive) is a national holiday so I’m afraid you will need to wait until after the break.
Looking at this https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/qualifications/glance/oxford-brookes-bsc-degree-applied-accounting/oxford-brookes-bsc-degree-project-mentor.html I would have thought the submission date was within the two week window of the earliest and latest dates for receipts of the project.
As it says at the bottom of the page “Submissions are only accepted between the earliest receipt date and the latest receipt date.”

December 29, 2020 at 7:41 am #601097I would have thought “passed 3 skills or professional level exams in the last 5 years before their submission date” was clear unless you do not know what the skills/professional exams are – these are the old “F5-F9” and “P” exams (and before that “2.” and “3.” exams).
And you asked what is submission date – which I answered.
For the more detailed Q which you asked on the OBU forum our OBU mentor will reply but not on a holiday.
