    Hi,

First of all, thanks so much for kindly providing free Lecture notes and Lectures (on following link), much appreciated :). I’m starting out CIMA and this website seems very useful and impressive.
    https://opentuition.com/cima/

I intend on using printed out Lecture notes along with the lectures and getting Kaplan Exam Kits. I’m just about to get started with the very first exam studies, BA1.

Regarding the notes, I lack printer at Home, and printing services locally charge quite a lot (e.g. £55+ for 138 pages A4 colour). Do OpenTuition sell Lecture notes handbook for each of the CIMA exams ? If so, please suggest an appropriate link/s. This would be much appreciated and would save myself from doing all the printing out, and it’d be much cheaper too. Any other ideas ? Thanks a lot :).

EDIT: also, any suggestions regarding the order of the exams ? Study for BA1, take exam, then repeat with BA2 etc until BA4 done or a different order like say BA1, BA3, BA2, BA4 ? Any suggestions ? Cheers. 🙂

Sorry, we do not sell a printed version of our notes. You don’t need colour. Consider printing 2 pages of our notes on one page of landscape A4.

Consider too whether you need to print them. People differ in this respect, but you can read and manually make summary notes or note cards. The process of summarizing is often a good way to reinforce memory.

It is usually recommended that you attempt the exams in numerical order.

    Okay.
But I’ve had a quick look at the notes, and it seems as if it might be helpful to print in colour, e.g. page 47/138 of BA1 notes, the graph lines are actually coloured (red and blue), and on another page I saw a coloured pie chart.
2 pages of the notes printed on one page of landscape A4 is a nice idea ! Cheers for that 🙂

Good idea also ! I might just try out a different approach of going through the notes via using my iPad Air 2, which I just bought literally yesterday purely for studying CIMA! As you said, making some of my own notes along the way could help reinforce the contents.

Okay, I’ll proceed with taking the exams in numerical order. After the BA units are cleared in order, so taken as BA1, BA2, BA3, BA4, what is the order best to take the exams/units of the next three levels (Operational, Management and then Strategic) ? Is it the Enterprise pillar exam first, then the Financial pillar exam and lastly the performance pillar exam ? Thanks, much appreciated.

I don’t think it makes any difference which order enterprise, financial or performance are attempted. You will probably fins some easier or more interesting than others and I suggest that you base you choice on the time you have and what you can be enthused by next.
