    Hi,

I’ve just got an email confirming my full membership. it states that i need to pay the application fee of 270. which makes sense!

However its the same time as yearly subs are due. At the moment its affiliate subs that i have an invoice for….. if i pay that will that be it for 2023 and next year (2024) ill pay full member? Or will they charge me affiliate then invoice me for full member? Guess its confusing due to time of year I’ve finally got my certificate!

    Thank you

If you pay only affiliate fee now for next year, I don’t think you can claim the benefits of membership. I suggest you pay the application fee and your fee for 2023 should be changed in your account to the membership fee. There’s no reason to pay 2023 fee before 31 December (!)

As far as my experience, you don’t need to pay membership annual fees if you already paid anther membership fee.

i.e I became an affiliate and applied for membership in Jan 2022, at that time I would have already paid my student subscription fee for the year 2022 in 2021. So in 2022 I just paid the 270 Membership fee application fee. Essentially my subscription fee for 2022 was the student price.

@llkkjj – thank you for your insight.

So @stacielou109, the advice is, if you pay fees shown as due in your account, you should not be required to pay additional fees if your status changes.
