General ACCANever Give Up

I just want to share with you my experience and hope it will inspire you to keep going with your studies despite the odds. After about 10 years, I have finally become a member of ACCA. Of course, I stopped in between due to many different reasons i.e. financial, challenging exams, lack of motivation, bitterness, hopelessness, anxiety, work, stress, etc..etc.. So beginning of 2017, I started to pick it up again. It was still very difficult, the journey felt endless. During the difficult times, I learned so much more about life than accountancy, about myself and my character. For whatever reason, the Universe, you can call it anything, faith and trust, God, Allah, Buddha... I have learned to do my best and then simply trust and let go. I failed, then I tried again, I cried, I got up again, I prayed, I asked, then somehow, I passed, just passed literally, even when the times when I thought to myself there was no way I could have passed, yet I still did. It was amazing! To cut the long story short, never give up, keep trying. Do what works for you...music, films, coffee, chocolates, whatever inspires you... You know what suits you best, no matter how long it may take...just don't give up on your dream. Best of luck everyone! ED
