I’m doing f7 and f9 in this sitting. I’ve passed f1 to f6 so far. So please recommend a good combination for the upcoming session. How about F8 P2? or F8 P1 P2? or F8 P1 P3? Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

I recommend F8 P1 & P2
February 27, 2013 at 9:52 am #118808You have to complete all F papers, or are sitting the remainder, to take a professional paper. Why do you want to do a different combination than set out by ACCA? The ACCA have already set it out for you!
February 27, 2013 at 12:15 pm #118821I personally attempt F8, P1 and P2 but after I had completed F9. The ACCA progression rule applies. Its either you do F7 F8 and F9 or F7 and F9 then next sitting you do your F8 P1 and P2. But you cant jump an F for a P.
ThanksFebruary 27, 2013 at 5:50 pm #118850I know the progression rules. I’m doing F7 and F9 now. After this I will be left with only F8 in the skills level. Please share your experience of doing F8 P1 P2 in one sitting. Hope it’s not too much of a burden to do 3 exams in one sitting cuz I’ve heard that P2 has a huge syllabus.
March 12, 2013 at 3:31 pm #119716P2 is known as ‘The Beast’ – it does indeed have a huge syllabus.
I’ve just passed P2 and would recommend that you don’t take too much else on when studying this one (unless you have no job/commitments/no other life – basically nothing better to do that study)
The thing about P2 is that, aside from the compulsory question, almost anything can come up (ie any IFRS !) - AuthorPosts
