5y ago#1The master budget is the complete set of budgets and will usually include a budgeted SOFP and a cash budget (along with everything else).
In practice the cash figure for the budgeted SOFP will come from the preparation of a cash budget. In the exam it depends what information is given in the question. You might certainly be asked for an extract from a cash budget.
Obviously you cannot be asked to prepare a full budgeted SOFP in the exam - only extracts from it.
