7 days are left but no more discussions.
Would ACCA be flexible enough to increase the pass rate in this session due to prevailing situation?
April 5, 2020 at 11:13 am #566550arfan54 – ACCA results must be rigorous regardless of circumstances – if pass rates were artificially increased it would cast doubts on whether candidates had, in truth, passed and so devalue the credential “ACCA”. I think that answers your question.
April 5, 2020 at 11:31 am #566551Thanks Kim.
April 5, 2020 at 11:39 am #566552Kim, does ACCA conduct audit of results announced historically?
I remember I got 40 in AAA in three consective attempts. The same number for 2nd time could be a coincidence but if you get the same for third time it creates doubt.
April 5, 2020 at 11:54 am #566553It can only be coincidence – there is no means by which a candidate’s result could be contrived to be the same as previously reported.
April 5, 2020 at 12:10 pm #566554I was just doubting this as a IT glitch.
April 6, 2020 at 7:49 am #5666126 days are left !
April 6, 2020 at 3:23 pm #566663When I open My Acca, it looks like there’s a notification on “My qualification” section (1 in a red circle on the left hand side). Is it just me, or can anyone else see it?
April 6, 2020 at 3:35 pm #566664Yes, it is. Are you finalist?
April 6, 2020 at 4:09 pm #566670Yea. I got it too. Can other finalists check if they have it too?

April 6, 2020 at 4:48 pm #566674Are all the ones that have seen the notification are finalists?
April 6, 2020 at 4:58 pm #566675This seems to be for all those who appear in the exams.
I am waiting for examiner reports.
April 6, 2020 at 4:59 pm #566676Hi guys

April 6, 2020 at 6:49 pm #566685@Kim Smith , i am asking for a friend, he recently sat the March exam sitting , however he had his original national identity card with picture with him but its date was expired, so invigilator gave him a no identification form at the end of exam in which he wrote that he bought his card but date is expired and he will get it renewed and then invigilator signed it. Other than this he gave his exam like normal students.
He is now worried that if his paper would have been marked or not? If anybody can please clear his concern?

Hi sudiptosen,
I need to complete My PER .Could you help me in this matter?April 7, 2020 at 12:44 am #566694Waiting for my APM results too hopefully pass. This is my last one ? hopefully good luck all !!
April 7, 2020 at 7:33 am #566705@acastudent the authoritative guidance I can find is here in the FAQs https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/help/exam-sessions.html#FAQs-about-sitting-an-exam
Having out of date ID is an admin matter which is treated in the same way as no ID. Based on the FAQ answer to present himself/herself to the exam centre BEFORE the end of the exam session (i.e. before the end of the exam week) the student should contact ACCA asap before results are released. It may be that in the “My qualifications” section of the Student Portal there is a suitable link in the list below the “Book an exam” link where the student can write an explanation but it is likely that ACCA will want to see the renewed ID and a signature (to match it up with the form he/she signed). And/or contact ACCA through the Connect team for advice – links on this page https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/footertoolbar/contact-us.html
(You will see generally with all the FAQs that the important thing is to seek to resolve issues BEFORE results are released. All scripts are marked by markers “routinely” – markers know nothing about an individual student – who they are/where they sat/whether they had extra time/whether they signed a form at the request of the exam supervisor. But as a matter of exams administration, marks will be matched up with the circumstances of a student before the results are released – e.g. if for whatever reason a candidate’s exam fees have not been paid their result may be withheld. Such a candidate would then have to “appeal” when they do not then receive a result.)
April 7, 2020 at 8:44 am #566720I got that too ,what is it ??
April 7, 2020 at 11:13 am #5667285 days remaining guys. Tighten your belts; we are almost there.
I completed my PER today, if I pass ( let’s assume I do pass), can I apply membership immediately or there is waiting period in which ACCA validates the PER?April 7, 2020 at 11:22 am #566729Did you complete the whole PER in one go?
I guess you can apply for membership straightaway provided you have the 36 months experience, completed Ethics module and as you said completed your PER.
Good luck!

I believe the exam itself was not bad like no surprises. I did do a structured course with Kaplan. Hopefully will pass
