i meant 50 % i used 90% as an exaggeration. thank you for clarifying not to go to the answers first but when making an attempt should i use any external aid when answering i.e notes and lectures or make my attempt with no help then review the answer and if the answer doesnt make sense then go back to the notes and lectures? thanks

Best is to attempt it yourself first (without using notes or anything).

If you realise that you have forgotten the topic completely, then go back to the lectures. Then have another attempt.

Then check your answer. If it is just a silly mistake or a misreading of the question, then learn from your mistake. If you do not understand the answer at all, then ask in this forum and I will help you 🙂
