I am on Chapter 3 currently. Is it a good idea to learn the formats given right now or later? I mean everything from statement of comprehensive income to changes in equity? Or is it something that I will slowly remember as I go through the chapters?

It’s something that you should be able to pick up as you go through the chapters.

I presume that you were exempt F3. If so it would probably be a good idea to listen to and watch John’s lectures as he goes through “company accounts” and follow the F3 course notes at the same time

In fact, if you have no idea where figures are coming from, you would probably gain a lot by watching the whole of the F3 series of lectures. It will probably be a one-off exercise but could be well worth the effort

Nothing lost by going over old stuff before you get into the heavies of the next level
