In Adair's three principle requirements of leadership, one of the principle requirement is "satisfy the individual's needs"
Can you explain me what is meant by "individual's needs"??
(Does it mean "individual's needs" related to fulfill the task or companies objective.
Or
It is individual's personal need.)

Feeling you are doing something worthwhile
A feeling of advancement eg new skills and experience
Being given responsibility
Recognition and praise
Right work/life balance
Adequate/fair remuneration
