    hello,

I am preparing for June exam, will the notes and those essentials (rates, figures etc) apply to my exam or will have changed? Please, advise.

The current OT notes are based on Finance Act (FA) 2016 and are relevant for the March exam only as from June 2018 the exams will be based on FA 2017.
OT course notes will be available in early February and the lectures will start to become available thereafter

Although there are many sections that have not changed it would be best to wait until the new FA 2017 notes are published and the new lectures to go with them are available – by next week all of the notes will be available and the lectures to chapter 8 will also be available.
Sorry I hadn’t noticed the ? at the end of your previous correspondence – yes I would advise that you wait for the new material.

    Hello Tax Tutor,

Thanks and God Bless you for your timely response.

Besides, going through BPP/Kaplan Kit questions keenly, is there a need to read a Study text or I just rely on the notes wholly coupled with numerous practice with the Kit questions? Please, advise me and do not tire.

    Kind Regards

The combination of OT course notes and lectures together with the use an exam / revision kit should be more than sufficient to achieve a pass in this exam but will probably not allow you to answer every possible OT question in section A.
A study manual may be used as a reference book and for further question practice if your finances permit but is not essential
