It was quite hard. The time was not sufficient. Some of the questions were really tricky.
June 9, 2022 at 5:31 pm #658179The same, unexpectedly not enough time
June 9, 2022 at 5:41 pm #658182The exam was relatively fine, section B was tricky and had a little trouble for one question in Section C. Anyways good luck on passing to all!
June 9, 2022 at 5:54 pm #658183yes felt like time was sucked away near end! but maybe also my own fault, took too long with the presentation of answers on section C question 1.
June 9, 2022 at 6:27 pm #658190I was supposed to write financial reporting exam today(FR), i launched the exam and was able to do a few questions but then the internet connection dropped saying its not able to connect ,and the system closed the exam on its own.i was not able to finish.
However, i had carried out system test a few days before the exam and passed.
I went to rebook the exam for contingency week. And it credit my account. However when rebooking it displays a messege: ‘the candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created At present’?
I dont know what this means. will i be able to rebook for the contingency week? And how long after im supposed to reebok to be eligible to write, as in is there any deadline.?
June 9, 2022 at 6:31 pm #658191FR exam was surprisingly okay, I wish I had 20 mins more to go over every Section A and B question again lol.
June 9, 2022 at 6:34 pm #658192Felt it was hard enough but passable. Got stuck one of the section C questions but felt i done ok on the second one. Section A and B i think I picked up enough marks.
Think I done enough for a pass and will be disappointed if I dont
June 9, 2022 at 8:00 pm #658210Who had Section C question for financial statements had to prepare it on Word processor, that did take really lot of time
June 9, 2022 at 8:34 pm #658214Hi please share the questions
June 9, 2022 at 10:39 pm #658226I was quite surprised i was pleased with the part c questions. I found the part b questions the worst. I thought the time was good i reviewed all my answers twice and had about 15 mins spare I feel like i should pass but we will see ? good luck everyone.
June 10, 2022 at 6:25 am #658248Group B questions were from topics
1. Revenue and contracts
2 . Leases
3. Depreciation and revaluation of non current assets.Group C
1 (a) you have to calculate adjusted net profit starting from PBIT. 7 marks
1 (b). Single entity SOFP – 13 marks
– convertible loans
– PPE and investment property
– under provision tax charge
– provision2 (a) calculation of good will – 5 marks
2 (b) calculation of ratios – 4 marks
Gp margin , operating profit margin, ROCE and Gearing
2 (c) analysis of consolidated financial statement – 11 marks .I ran out of time on my analysis grop c because I spent too much time in group a and b . So time management is really important guys. I think i have done enough to pass but still i have that feeling i could have done better if i had just 15 mins more. Advice from my experience push yourself to attend next question if you get stuck in one question.
Goodluck everyone 🙂
June 10, 2022 at 7:54 am #658242Section c on word this is too time conduming …I even changed PC upon request since I thought the spreadsheet didn’t load on mine …huge mistake from acca ..we are not prepared for this and this panicked students …please write to acca ..I will do same
June 10, 2022 at 10:02 am #658288Easier than expected for section A and section C, especially that section C accounts prep question – a much easier version of the specimen exam lol… Got em all when the exam is still 55 min left; Also, lucky to see no cash flow questions!
June 10, 2022 at 11:10 am #658297Section A was surprisingly okay, section B I found that revenue’s OT had two pretty tough and tricky questions, Lease was okay, and IAS16/20 was a gift.
Section C gave a smooth preparation of single financial statements (no deferred taxation) and 2nd part had GW calculations, performance ratios’ (no adjustments so 5 fine points) and analysis for 11pts which I didn’t allocated much time on it.
Overall I could’ve reach better time management for this one.And guys, upon getting back to my MCQs I noticed that one question from section A which had the ticking answer to the relevant box (maturing goods treated as a lone – 1 Dec to 1 Apr) it kept showing « UNCOMPLETE » in the summary… is it okay?
June 11, 2022 at 9:00 am #658456Guys..pl. if the question paper is available (in pdf / any other format) pl. upload. It’s yet to be uploaded in ACCA (under ‘past exams’).
July 5, 2022 at 10:36 am #659986Mine was good.
