Hi, are there likely to b significant changes to the F6 syllabus from the current syllabus for the June 2017 exam session?

You will need the new FA 2016 material but you will find in many areas that the rules have remained the same, so if you have already studied F6 for FA 2015 the main changes you will find will be in income tax and CGT

Hi, thanks for the response. Where can I read about the changes that you have mentioned? I want to see if it’s complicated. If it is I would like to apply for the March session before the deadline.

Go to the ACCA website and in the student section select F6 UK and technical articles and then read / download the FA 2016 technical update. The only essential purchase you will need to make will be the exam kit

From the students section you need to select exam support resources to then access the individual exam

I said that the only essential purchase to supplement the OT notes and lectures would be the exam kit, but if you are able to purchase a study manual then that would be great as a source of reference, but I would still advise that you study from the notes and lectures first!
