Is anyone else experiencing issues with access to their BPP E-books? When I try to open the ebook from Google Chrome on my mac, it's unable to load.

If there's no obvious reason why you can't load it (e.g. deactivated if not used for 3 months) perhaps contact BPP.
If this is first time of using you might want to check in section 6 of the Ts & Cs here that you have suitable OS etc https://learningmedia.bpp.com/catalog?pagename=TandC
