What’s the relationship between Integrated Reporting and Triple Bottom Line reporting. Thank you.

They are basically the same idea of not focussing simply on profits as had been the case in the past. The IR Framework sets out guidelines for the content of the report in more detail and more formally.

Triple bottom line reporting is not in the AFM syllabus. IR is mentioned but is more of an SBR topic (and anything in all the syllabuses can be asked in all of the papers at the advanced level).

    Hi John

I came across a Chapter in AFM Kaplan explaining the Triple Bottom Line Reporting and I believe I also came across a question about it in the AFM Kaplan Exam Kit. So I am not sure why you state that it is not in the AFM syllabus.

I accept that anything in all the other syllabuses can be asked in all the papers at this advanced level.

    Thank you.

I state it because it is not listed in the syllabus as published by the ACCA, which you can find on the ACCA website 🙂

It is examinable fr the reason I stated above – that anything in the other syllabuses can be examined in Paper AFM (although not so likely).
