which of the following items that generate future economic benefits and whose costs can be measure reliably is an intangible non current asset?
1.computer hardware owned by a business
2.operating software that operates the computer hardware in (1)
3.a patent bought by a business
4.an extension to an office building owned by a business
sir could you answer it in easy wording i read from the answers of bpp kit but i didi not get ……

Intangible assets are assets that you cannot touch, as I explain in my lectures.
1 and 2 are tangible assets – i.e. you can touch them.
2 is regarded as being part of the computer, which is tangible.
3 is intangible – you cannot touch it.
