I have seen some inconsistency with respect to the usage of the term “TAXABLE INCOME”..in the solution for question to question. Some times it is treated as the figure after PA but in another times it is treated as before PA.
My understanding it is the term denotes After PA and Can I use this assumption for each and every circumstances in the exam where “TAXABLE INCOME” is used ?
There should be no doubt – taxable income is always AFTER deducting the PA (if of course the PA is available!)
