In the example of Agriculture (Qn – Ted), why isnt the gain b/w 2 year old cows and 3 year old cows $550.25 x 1000?

I think it’s because a 2 year old cow will be 3 years old at the end of the year!

    Hi Sir,

I am reading the answer on IAS 41and it did mentioned that “movement increase in FV of $ 170,100”.

The question I want to ask is where can I get the figure of $1,480,000?

    Thanks.
    Alan

    Aha

Somehow over the years an error has crept in, for which we apologise. I will correct it in the next edition.

You are quite correct – the increase should be 150,100 not 170,100
