I have not yet started preparation for P7 exam. Which topics should i prepare first?
Only P7 course notes are enough to pass P7? Any other study material u suggest?

The course notes have NEVER been claimed to be enough. Get yourself a study text, work through past exam questions and answers. Read Lisa’s articles from student accountant. Read the exam technique article from this website

    sir mike little:
i have just the p7 paper left in my becoming an acca affilate. i am currently trying to study by myself and cannot find a pattern of topics to which i can stick to and study.
Could you please be kind enough and tell me which topics or subjects should i study first to get it going or better yet you can give me an order or list of chapters by which i should study. I have bought the new text and kit of BPP. If you could help me i’d be much thnkful!

How can I possibly do that? Try reading the study text. If you find that too heavy, try the revision kit and read some questions and answers. If that gets you nowhere, try the course notes.

It takes about 2 hours to simply read through the course notes. D that 4 or 5 times in a week and you’re getting on top of the course notes.

Now, go back to the revision kit and look at some questions again.

Whatever you do, you’ll need to be very self-disciplined. Plan to spend just the time necessary to simply read non-stop through the notes ( about 2 hours ) five times. That takes us to a completion day of next Wednesday.

Then get into a revision kit but no more than, say, 1 hour per evening, EVERY EVENING.

And keep going. Don’t give up. You’re a lot closer to finishing than thousands of others. You’re in the home straight. You can see the finish line. Now is not the time to panic!!!!

hi, i have started studying P7 and i have read like 12 chapters. but Im really messed up. The questions ask for things that are beyond my level of understanding. How should i tackle this paper? im weak in this subject.
