    Hi Tahir,

First off let me state that your desire to hide your number of attempts speaks to ethical issues on your part, but who am I to judge. If your employer asks to see your exam transcript, then there is no way to hide the attempts. With respect to your membership certificate, the certificate does not show your exams (hence it does not show the options you took), all it shows is the date you were admitted to membership under seal. All members are equal in the eyes of the profession.

If your employer asks the number of attempts you undertook and you provide false information, should the employer subsequently obtain proof of your misstatement then it may be grounds, not only for dismissal but also for them to report you to the body which could ultimately lead to you being removed from membership.

In the end, the decision is your’s but you have been advised accordingly.
