Hi, in the mnemonic I don't understand the "reward" part of it. It says the employee cannot profit from sound management but I don't understand what that means.

If you own a business and make every effort to make it work you will reap the reward with either profits or with dividends. Either way it is within your control.
As an employee - doen't matter how much effort you put in to make the business work - your reward is your salary which is fixed.
