Dear Mike,
Would you be so kind to advise me what type of F4 do I have to study?
I am a bit confused.December 2, 2014 at 12:14 pm #215958Hi, you can study whichever one you want! There is a full (almost) suite of video lectures on this site for English law with only just over half relating also to global law.
There are, however, no dedicated global law lectures covering the first 8 chapters of the global law notes.
The choice is yours!
If I can help in any way, please do post again
December 7, 2014 at 11:42 am #219104Hi, I have a similar question. Which variant would be better for person living in UK or which one is easier?
Thank you
MagdaDecember 7, 2014 at 9:04 pm #219209Neither variant is easier than the other. It’s also a difficult question for me to answer since there’s only been last week’s exam in this new format.
If it were my own personal choice, I would go for English but that’s only because I enjoy the stories so much
I doubt very much that there’s a lot in it these days, one way or the other
December 9, 2014 at 3:05 pm #219733I can’t understand the f4 syllabus! What is global or English variant?Do i have to study both or I have a choice?
December 9, 2014 at 4:09 pm #219762You have a choice – it’s either one or the other
The big differences are in sections A, B and C of the syllabus – all the other 5 sections of the syllabi are exactly the same
In the global variant, there is heavy emphasis on international trade law, international sale of goods and the law relating to arbitration
In addition, in the global variant is the topic of Sharia law
The English equivalent sections cover contract law and the law of tort in much greater detail than the global coverage
Any other questions – post them here and I’ll try to help
