Suppose a question asks us to evaluate the financial position of a company, then can we calculate ratios and include them in the answers…..Do we get marks for calculation.
And Can we include a table in the middle of the answers and showing each year the ratio %.
I saw an examiner answer like this Pilot paper 2011 NMS…
Could u pls clarify thnks.
🙂
Ratios are good: they are a standard way of trying to interpret financial health.
You can place the calculations anywhere – even as an appendix at the start.
1) can we draw a table at start??
2) should we show how did we arrive to figures?
A table? Not sure what you mean, but you can show the calculations at the start because much of what you say will depend on the figures you obtain. Showing workings is recommemded.
