Of course you can study for F9 in the summer. Why not? My approach is to take one exam every 3 months. I give myself a week or two break at most, before starting to study for the next exam. OpenTuition notes and lectures contain enough to pass but you MUST also use a revision kit from an approved learning provider. Personally I also used the Kaplan study text but that's only because my employer paid for it.
