Hi all,
I am planning to attempt F4 with self study. Please advise which variant should I choose English or Global. Any big difference between these two? Please also suggest study tips?
It depends on where you plan to work actually.
English Variant is solely/in depth about UK corporate law.
While Global Variant has elements of different laws… It also has the UK law but that is not in much depth like it is in the Eng Variant. It also has other types of laws like the Sharia law etc.You can download the syllabus of the two to see more in depth about the syllabus and content.
But it all comes down to where one wants to work.
A general tip of studying either of the two would be to have an exam kit or a practice & revision kit. And to do rigorous amount of practice questions! Try to make sure to do constant revision too. These two will help to retain the matter of the subject as it is quite easy to forget what one has studied.

Helo everyone,
I did the Global version (75% pass, studying 2 months while full time job)
My approach:
1) Theory: BPP Book (old Version 2017/2018, for free)
2) Practice: Revision Book from Kaplan and Pocket Notes from Kaplan (I bought them)
and Revision kit from BPP (old Version 2017/2018, for free)
3) Mock Exam from the ACCA official web site on COMPUTER.I did not use the opentuition this time, cause I personally could not profit from the lecturer on opentuition. It did not work for me and I am glad I realised it right after first video.
