I was doing the 10-mark questions in my revision kit and also the mock exam on the ACCA website. I noticed that on the ACCA website mock, those questions were mainly calculations but non-multiple choice, with some fill-in the blanks or drop down options. But in the revision kit, they are mostly questions that require you to answer in full sentences and write full explanations.
I don’t really have an issue with either one, but which one is more representative of an actual CBE? Just so I can prepare time allocation. Thanks!
I will answer (although this forum is for students to help each other – it is the Ask the Tutor Forum where I answer).
The mock on the ACCA website is what the real CBE exam will look like. Obviously it is impossible to give the same options in a printed book which is why it looks different in the Revision Kits.
