Hello!
I’m waiting for the results of my last applied skills paper and had almost made up my mind to write SBL next but realised that it is advised to complete epsm before starting strategic professional papers. The problem is I want to claim exemptions for my MA and FA papers which are the only papers I haven’t written but I’ll be graduating after june this year and the website shows that inorder to access epsm you need to complete all the foundation papers. So my question is, is there any way around this? If not would you recommend I attempt SBR and AAA first and then do SBL after I graduate? I really want to write SBL first so what I’m ultimately asking is if EPSM would make a hUGE difference in the exam prep.January 11, 2023 at 4:44 pm #675640EPSM has become increasingly relevant to ALL the Strategic Professional exams – not just SBL – in particular, the APM, AFM and AAA options.
My understanding is that you cannot sit any SP exam if you have outstanding knowledge exams – so it is not only the EPSM that you cannot do yet. However, you might want to ask ACCA directly, also if there is a work-around if you are determined to sit SBL first https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html
If you are permitted to enter for an SP exam, I would recommend SBR – as you should do this before AAA .
